I personally found Theta Healing when I was in a wheelchair for 18 months due to a violent car accident and traumatic brain injury.  The doctors at Mayo Clinic and here at home told me I would have to learn to live that way the rest of my life. I said thanks, but no thanks -- I cannot accept that, and your services are no longer desired or helpful! 

Within 6 months of finding Theta Healing I was back on my feet with almost complete brain function and was able to resume my life and go back to work as Technical Director in an Engineering firm!  

Since then, I have chosen to move away from engineering as a form of employment and focus on Theta Healing as my career and full time practice and apply engineering and systems approach to the Theta Healing practice and education. 

I now teach this method and offer sessions to show others how they can profoundly heal and create the life they choose!  And just in case you don’t know what you would really love to do and be, Theta Healing and Creator can assist with that too…the possibilities are endless!

 

 

• I was certified to teach Theta Healing in 2006, however did not see teaching as a focus at that time as I was still working on my own awareness and life path.

My early career began with starting my own jewelry making business when I was 18 years old.  I graduated early from high school and went to college at 17 to explore electronics and that new stuff called computers.  At 19, I started working at IBM as an Electronics Technician fixing machines that tested (1K) memory chips for the IBM 360’s.  I was also volunteering at the local grammar schools tutoring underprivileged 1^st graders.  From there I worked at ADT in the World Trade Towers in NY designing new digital security alarm systems for homes and businesses, living in Brooklyn with my elderly grandmother.

Not really inspired by all the work choices, and not quite sure what to do with my career at that time, I branched out and explored restaurant management, then amateur and professional boxing promotions – WOW what a change of pace that was!  

That was enough to direct me back to college for my Computer Science and Mathematics degree.  I worked as a consultant for NASA, Goddard Space Flight Center in Maryland -- working on satellite imagery and meteorological models for weather prediction.  From there I went to work for a large government-consulting firm as a Systems Analyst and eventually a Project Manager of technical systems design and database design for military and Federal Government programs working at the Pentagon and military bases in the area. 

I married a Naval Officer, gave birth to an adorable daughter (Brigid) and moved around a bit, engaging the wifely duties of a military spousal unit – working as Vice President of the Ships Wives Club – supporting families during ships deployment and family separation.   During that time, I worked as a consultant on Army programs in data management and system design.  Divorced early and raising my daughter as a single parent, I moved back to the Virginia area and decided that I wanted my own business and to work for myself – so my business partner and I started an Information Technology & Military Logistics Company in the early 90’s.  Within a few short years, we were one of the fastest growing firms in Virginia, with offices in three states, providing services to Federal agencies and Military clients around the US and territories.

Since the early 80’s I was fascinated by and researched all sorts of holistic practices and teachings.  I started then taking all sorts of classes on personal awareness, alternative medicines, and energy modalities.  I started working with Dr Richard Moss in the mid 90’s to learn more about my SELF, and had increasing experiences of expanded consciousness, until the lid blew off and I was catapulted into a whole new way of being. 

My experiences with Dr Moss in 1997 changed how I looked at life and self -- and this made my work in my own company, working 60-80 hours a week -- intolerable and insane, at best!  I sold my share of the company and went into a two-year period of Self Exploration – reading hundreds of books, taking dozens of classes, working with karate and Qi Gong, learning about energetics and exploring the great unknown! 

In 2000, I returned to the technical world as a consultant and Systems Engineer for the Marine Corps, still trying to figure out what I wanted to do and how to support me and my teenage daughter Brigid, still taking more classes and exploring consciousness in my life.  Then 911 popped onto the scene -- I was moved to support the recovery effort at the Pentagon, where my daughter, ex-husband and I worked for 10 days at the food and supplies station for the firefighters and military and government rescue groups.  I was deeply touched by the enormity of the event in the US, as well as dealing with the local affects on my extended family and community of the fear mania with the added Anthrax and sniper activity in the Northern Virginia area.   In my daughter’s high school, several students lost parents or relatives in the Pentagon and World Trade Towers.  Brigid’s Godfather was injured in the Pentagon, and several others were supposed to be there that day, but “life circumstances” led them elsewhere.  Growing up in NY with lots of family still there, I learned of dozens of tragic losses in peoples lives, and watched how it all transformed each of these two cities and rippled to the rest of the US and world in powerful group consciousness and growing fear.

 Triggered once again by working for a military program and dealing with the Pentagon and 911 events and energy, I was already looking to explore new career possibilities and get back to a more peaceful way of living and working.   Then I totaled my car on Christmas morning 2002 driving up to NY to see my family -- and my world caved in!

 I lived with the horror, pain, dysfunction, and financial burdens of my injuries for 3 years, and as painful as the body was, I was clear on some level that the psychic pain was far greater and that my approaching “madness” was leading me to open to the “gift” that life was about to offer me!  I realized too that if I could create such havoc and pain and dysfunction in my life, I had to be pretty powerful,  If I was this powerful what was I missing to be able to direct this power in a more pain free, productive,  loving life?
